I am My Mood is... who cares!
Mae Govannen, dear reader!
That's a greeting in Elvish, so feel special.
I am talking to myself aren't I?
Uhhh never you mind.
Anyway... I was supposed to go out to watch a movie today. But after looking at what was showing, I kinda got discouraged. I'd rather wait for movies like ROTK and Peter Pan. I am a lover of films but I just hate movies that only exist to show off an actor's body or really shallow ones that are usually teen romance flicks.
Haha. I said I was feeling "cheeky" today. I lied. I felt cheeky for one minute and that was when I was choosing what mood I was in IMood. After I clicked, I changed mood.
I guess my mood is kinda represented by this quote: "Wind is formless. Cloud is unpredictable." (From the Hong Kong movie 'Stormriders'). It can't ever be just one... well not in my case.
Oh yeah! I went to the Lord of the Rings chatroom in Yahoo today. I used to be a regular there... but I kinda stopped going 'cause of my studies. Roleplaying can get pretty distracting. Especially if you play a cheeky little hobbit lad. You start speaking like them, and thinking like them, so on and so forth. You start living the life of a hobbit, and that can cause a bit of trouble, mostly in the kitchen.
Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.
Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? (Theoden in the background: Victory! We have victory!) But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn't. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding on to, Sam?
Sam: There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for.
Lord of the Rings inspires. Both the movie and the book. I can't wait to see the last installment of the film. I'll probably cry ten times more than I did when I saw the trailer. Ha. That was breathtakingly awesome. Absolutely brilliant. Sleep now I must...
